Latin GRAMMY® and ASCAP® winner, Pedro Capó, has music in his DNA, not only because he is the grandson of the legendary music star Bobby Capó, but also because it is all that he lives, breathes and professes. As a singer-songwriter he is known for writing international hits for Ricky Martin “La Mordidita” and “Disparo al Corazón.” In 2018 Pedro Capó became a worldwide star with “Calma (Remix)” featuring Farruko; single that is already certified Diamond in the United States, Mexico and Peru; multi-platinum in LATAM and Europe. “Calma (Remix)” peaked on the Spotify Global Top 50 chart at #5 (becoming one of only a handful of all-Spanish songs to break the Top 5 in said chart), the track has surpassed 4.1 Billion streams and 1.8 billion views combined (Calma, Calma (Remix), Calma (Alicia Remix)). On the radio “Calma Remix” reached the #1 on the charts in Puerto Rico, US, Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and France. The video continues in the Top 10 on the Global YouTube Charts. Capó not only distinguishes himself as a singer-songwriter, but he also shines as an actor. He was part of the cast of the popular Broadway musical ‘Celia: The Life and Music of Celia Cruz’ which was presented in English and Spanish in New York; participated in “Sol de Media Noche” which won the Golden Dragon Award at the 2019 Ferrara Film Festival (Italy) and starred in ‘The Sweet Spot’, ‘Shut up and Do It’ and ‘Paraíso Travel’ directed by Simon Brand and starring John Leguizamo.
